Music, Earth, and Positive Vibrations

Welcome to the official store of Banda Terráquea!

Founded by the American-born, Salvador, Bahia, Brazil based guitarist, songwriter, and educator Lon Bové, an accomplished vocalist, guitarist, arranger, and Master in Education, Lon’s career spans monumental achievements, including nine Grammy nominations for his critically acclaimed album “M.O.T.H.”. Our band blends the deep roots of American Blues, Jazz, and R&B with the powerful rhythmic matrix of Afro-Brazilian music. But we have always believed that music must go beyond the stage. It should be a tool for global healing, social action, and community education.

Driven by 100% Purpose

To bridge our art with real-world impact, we operate hand-in-hand with our non-profit branch: the Radio Terra Project.
100% of the proceeds from this store go directly toward funding the Radio Terra Project. When you purchase our merchandise, music, or gear, you are personally financing completely free, high-quality online music education for people of all ages across the globe.

A Registered U.S. 501(c)(3) Non-Profit

We believe in absolute transparency and accountability. The Terra Radio Project is an officially recognized 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity in the United States (Employer ID Number: 41-4613607). This means your support is backed by the highest standards of financial integrity, and your purchases directly sustain an official U.S. non-profit operation.

Inside the Radio Terra Project

Led by Lon Bové and powered by the professional musicians of Banda Terráquea, this social-musical initiative offers free weekly virtual lessons. We break down financial barriers so anyone can learn:

    • 🎸 Guitar and Bass
    • 🥁 Drums and Percussion
    • 🎤 Singing and Vocal Training
    • 🎹 Keyboard and Harmonica

From teaching the CAGED system and blues scales using universal classics like Stand By Me, to helping students perform alongside us on stage, we use the energy inherent in all “Earthlings” (Terráqueos) to promote cultural and environmental awareness.
